We proudly honored Kevin Iega Jeff, celebrated dance educator, choreographer, and cultural community builder. Kevin Iega Jeff co-founded Chicago’s Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in 1995, setting the stage for the future Deeply Rooted Center for Black Dance and Creative Communities. He has helped nurture the talent of many FMC students through his masterclasses. We were delighted to shine a light on his work.
Proceeds from the annual Relevé Soirée gala help fund FMC's Summer Dance Camp, Free Saturday Dance Class Series, and programming throughout the year.
